June 7th? 2025 I think it’s been a day. I want to say it has, because my body feels like it has. My legs ache in that deep bruised way. My throat hurts. My eyes feel swollen, like I cried in my sleep, which I don’t remember doing but wouldn’t surprise me. I found a place to hide. There’s a janitor’s closet on the second floor of the school. The door sticks when you close it, so it doesn’t latch all the way unless you really lean into it. I shoved a broken chair under the handle. It didn’t feel sturdy, but it felt like something . The floor inside was cleaner than the hallway, like no one ever bothered to come in here even when the school was still alive. I don’t remember deciding to sleep. I remember sitting on the floor with my back against the wall, notebook in my lap, telling myself I’d just close my eyes for a second. I remember my breathing finally slowing down. I remember thinking I could still hear it moving somewhere in the building, far away, patient. Then nothing. When I...

June 6th, 2025 I woke up to my heart already racing, like I’d been running a race in my sleep. The house was quiet. Not asleep quiet. Empty quiet. I checked my phone this time just to prove to myself it hadn’t buzzed. No notifications. No missed calls. Nothing new. I packed the car slowly. Every item felt like a decision I could still undo. Camera, batteries, lights, mic, charger, notebook, water, snacks. I stood there for a long time holding my keys, listening to the hum of the refrigerator and pretending that meant something. Mom asked where I was going when she saw the bag. I said I was filming some abandoned places for a project. She smiled in that polite, worried way parents do when they don’t want to ask follow up questions they’re afraid of the answers to. She told me to drive safe. As she always does. I didn’t tell her where. The further I drove, the thinner everything felt. Trees pressed closer to the road. Houses spaced themselves out until there were long stretches wher...

June 4th, 2025  I’m Alex. I’m 22. I’m a film student. Or I was, at least until a week ago, when everything sort of… stopped making sense. I don’t really know who I’m writing this for. Maybe myself. Maybe no one. Maybe this just lives on the internet like everything else does now. I’m used to documenting things through a camera, not words, but right now I don’t trust myself to press record. So this is me trying to stay upright. I was living in Winter Park, Florida, going to Full Sail. Summer break was coming up. I had projects lined up, plans, normal stuff. My girlfriend was supposed to come visit me in Pennsylvania for a week before we drove back down together. We were talking about moving in somewhere halfway between everything. Something cheap. Something temporary. We joked about it a lot. Five days before I was supposed to leave campus, security knocked on my door. Campus security and Winter Park PD. I remember noticing how polite they were. Like they were trying not to sta...

Prologue

Hello, My name is Ashley. My sister Alex went missing last year (2025) in June. As of last night a package arrived addressed to me. No name, no return address. Inside, a notebook, and sleeve case of SD cards. skimming the notebook quickly, I quickly realized that these belonged to my sister. This was her notebook, these are her SD cards. But how? how did they get here? Why me? I mean yes I'm her sister, but She's been missing for almost a year, why not just come home? Just a package of some of her belongings.  So... For my own sake I'll be going through everything I have been given. Just incase I will also be uploading things I find onto this blog. I'll be starting with the notebook first. I'll be posting the first page shortly.
